This video that we produced for Kanga, featured their new line of beer coolers, which earned our agency a Silver Addy Award. This project stands out as one of my favorites, where I had the dual role of Assistant Director and key contributor to the set design and lighting. Our goal was to create a fun, engaging product launch video that embodied the 80s style of the new Kanga coolers. Collaborating closely with our copy department, we crafted a captivating script and utilized our location for a two-day shoot. Because of some budget constraints we had to utilize just two male talent to tell the story and had to adjust the script to accommodate. Working with our Camera Op, I designed a lighting setup that perfectly captured the nostalgic 80s party scene. The production included an 80-second video, photography, and multiple social media cutdowns, providing the client with a comprehensive suite of resources to launch their new product.
