Armstrong Clark
As the Director and Producer for Armstrong Clark's brand video, I led the creation of a 60-second feature that showcased their premium deck stain. Additionally, we aimed to maximize our shoot by capturing social content for the client to use over the next 90 days. A significant challenge was securing a deck location that allowed us to stain and film simultaneously within a tight two-day window. Despite our first two production dates being rained out, we finally got the perfect weather to begin our work.
To achieve a cinematic look, we used a 1200d Aperture light with gobo filters to cast dramatic lighting on our subject. We also used a probe lens and smooth dolly movements for tight frames and dynamic tracking shots. This approach highlighted the product's application process and results with visual flair. In just under two days, we successfully stained the entire deck and captured all necessary content. The result was a compelling brand video and a suite of engaging social media assets that exceeded the client's expectations
